Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. Her father was a theatre enthusiast at an early age. In 1952, while a student of Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953 and, while working in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in Air Force. The couple got married in 2005 and they had their first baby, Eric Anthony in 1956. In 1957, the couple quit the air force and Walter began his studies in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. The Actors and Writers Workshop was established in 1964 and lasted for six years. They welcomed in 1965 two new children: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
