LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players and is frequently in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous basketball player. James has been awarded four NBA championships as well as four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team and two Olympic medals. James had more points than any other player during the playoffs, has had the second-most career points and is seventh in career assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. Ten NBA Finals is the most ever, including eight in a row between the years 2011-2018. In 2018 James was also chosen to be on the team for NBA's 75th anniversary. In 2021 James was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player of NBA history to accumulate at least 10,000 career points in rebounds and assists. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. The school was recognized by the national press as the future NBA super star. He was a prep-to pro and was selected as the highest selection of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. Being the NBA rookie player of 2004 he established himself quickly as one the top players in the league, earning the NBA MVP awards in 2009 and 2010. James joined Miami Heat in 2010 when he became a Free Agent after failing to achieve the title with Cleveland. The announcement of his departure was broadcast on The Decision.
